When your child joins Songbirds their days will be filled with fun & adventures – learning and exploring within our safe and secure surroundings.
Children generally feel more secure and learn better when there is a predictable routine to the day. Each room of our childcare centre follows a routine, however it may vary throughout the year due to weather, special events or the children’s engagement in a project.

Daily activities include
Movement
Mind and Body movement is imperative for growth. Our movement programme will include Yoga, Meditation and mindfulness, Sport & Outdoor play in our natural play environment
Music
We will encourage your child’s creative side with song and dance with our diverse range of musical instruments from all over the globe, as they explore the wonderful world of music.
Art
We have a wide range of art materials available at all times for the children to freely access. Art plays a big part in our learning approach and children are encouraged to express their ideas through art.
Learning
Our learning program guides children’s learning by challenging and stimulating interests both individually and as a group. Our educators plan age appropriate programs and observe, document and assess your child’s learning outcomes. A large part of our learning programs are based around STEAM, which is a curriculum based on education in four specific areas – Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics.
